Fees

Birth Doula Fees 
As a DONA trained and experienced Doula, my fee for Birth Doula services is $700. I am proud to offer a discounted fee of $500 for Active Duty Military, E-1 through E-5. If you are delivering in St. Louis, I charge and additional $100 to help offset the cost of transportation.

Need a Doula last minute? Feel free to call me, and if I am available to help, my fee would be $400. Last minute means I will be meeting you at the hospital with no prenatal visits. Payment is due in cash when I arrive to the hospital. I will care for you from then on, just as I do my prearranged clients, to include labor, birth, and post partum visits.

Prenatal or Postpartum Doula
3 to 4 hr increments per day
$15.00 per hour (15 miles or less)
$20.00 per hour (16 or more miles)
*prices are based on the distance from the doulas home


Have a look on the menu under "services" for all of the wonderful ways that I can help you before or after the birth of your little one. If there is something that you may need that is not listed, just ask, as every one's needs are different! Please contact me for a quote as fees are based on your location. These services make a great gift from family and friends that wish they were there to help in the few weeks after you come home with your baby, but who are not able to.

Payment
I accept Cash, Check, or Credit Card-via Pay Pal ($30 processing fee required for each PayPal transaction). Half of the labor fee is due at the time that we sign our contract and is a non-refundable retainer. The remainder of the labor fee is due at your 38 week mark.

I will also consider offering a lower fee for certain circumstances. If you are not able to pay the full amount, please feel free to email me and we can discuss this. I believe that if a woman wants to have a doula at her birth, then she should have one. Your prenatal or postpartum payment is due at time of service.

Gift Certificates
Need a baby shower gift? Giving the gift of doula services, especially postpartum, is a great way to help the new parents get through the challenges of the first few weeks at home with their new little one. Give one day of care, or a whole week that the recipients can schedule when the time is right for them. This is a great gift that several family members or friends can pitch in together to buy for the new parents. Please contact me for a special gift certificate that will be tailored to parents needs.
